An Argentinian named Sebasebi came out tops in the latest Springleap design competition which was called Enviro-Mental.
The competition brief pretty much asked for a crazy design about the environment. Thus the winning design below is rather scary!
All this madness about the world summit in Copenhagen suddenly seems appropriate. I wouldn’t like to find myself ‘looking for life’ in a few years time…
Here’s to all earth lovers and tree huggers! Buy ‘Post Apocalypse’ by Sebasebi HERE.

It showed up as the winning design for our Living Dead themed competition. I reckon it won because of the ‘funny factor’.

It’s beautiful and sunny all the way here in Cape Town and I’m feeling good. So ready for the weekend! Just before it starts you may want to buy yourself something awesome to wear and I have just the thing!
Springleap’s latest winner is a guy that goes by the name Suburbanhijinx and he recently won our “The Hard of Rock” themed competition with his ‘STAYIN ALIVE’ design. This isn’t the first time he’s won so take a look at Suburbanhijinx’s profile to see what else he’s come up with.
Stayin' Alive design wins 'The Hard of Rock'
Here’s what he had to say about it:
“Keeping in mind the theme of rock…I was thinking of what kind of “ROCK” ideas I could do with out some crazy dragon or epic looking character with lightning bolts…I was immediately drawn to memories of old punk rock music zines. I did this design inspired by those photocopied, underground, phenomena. Hope you like it!”
Well I dig it. What do u guys think? Go over to Springleap.com to check out what else is on offer or follow ‘Springleaping’ on Twitter for daily specials…yes…daily specials

Springleap.com has it’s latest winner for the most recent competition “Township Bling”. If you ever wanted a really cool South African flavoured tee (with a sci-fi twist), this is it!
TAXI WARS t-shirt design by CHUCKY
All around the country at any point in time there’s usually some kind of Taxi-driver’s roit taking place. What can I say? South Africa prides itself with the roughest urban jungles in the universe! Ok, those of you who have visited our cities must know that it’s not THAT bad, but I love that something as mad as taxi violence seems common place here.

A lil’ introduction… Springleap.com is an online tee design site from Cape Town, South Africa. We currently run a bi-weekly themed t-shirt design competition and I’m here to introduce you to the new members of our Springleap.com stock and their creative mothers and fathers!
So now that you know the details, lets get right to it!
Our first themed competition was a clearly a challenge to designers who were used to entering anything they liked, but we ended with some great designs. For the theme “Me love you long time” our winner is…
This is what Suburbanhijinx had to say about his illustration:
“Me love you long time is the theme and I couldn’t think of anything more fitting then being with your loved one for one last embrace. Plus without death life, love, and all the good stuff just wouldn’t be as good. 3 colors on a black tee! Enjoy!”
Submissions for the next themed t-shirt design competition are open. This time the theme is “The Hard of Rock”.Click on the link for some illustration inspiration. Designers I hope to see your design contending for the prize!
We’ve had this tshirt on our shelves for just a few weeks now. It’s the Vampire Meets the Hound Tee.
A little bit spooky, a little bit quirky, a lot cooler than the tee you’ve probably got on now. And, ahem, lucky you can’t see what I’m wearing right now either.
Vampire Meets the Hound is available exclusively from the Young Lovers website. Made in a limited edition print run of just 100 tees, so you’d better get in quick.

You music lovers are gunna dig this. Say you’re cruising down the road, surfing the radio waves when all of the sudden you get hit by this massive bass line that nearly shatters your windows, and a rhythmic wonderland fills your ears making you feel like you’re flying through space on the back of a galloping stallion while little ferries are prancing around in your head.
How did that happen? What in the world could cause such a sensation?
It was quite possibly REASON!!
WTF? Reason?
Reason is music software application software that has become a staple in the industry for creating beats of all kinds. It would normally take a warehouse to store all of the world’s best sounding instruments, processors, slim jims and rinky dinks – but now they can all be housed within one computer. Beethoven and Mozart would have the time of their lives using this program to create massively intricate compositions of the highest sound quality.
If you’re a music lover and have ever wanted to thank the person who created that amazing beat…why don’t you start by thanking Propellerhead - the people who created that amazing software called Reason.
Check out out super limited edition(only 100 printed) shirt we made for Propellerhead, showing how Reason can turn you into an evil beat-making genius. Buy the limited edition shirt now.
Still confused about what the Reason software application actually does? Maybe this will shed some light…or…umm…sound…on the matter.
